The CAP 231 is built entirely from laser-cut balsa and plywood parts, and the airframe weight of the finished, covered model is only 530 g. The model's delicate construction is shown off beautifully by the translucent film covering of the underside. The selected wing section and carefully chosen moment arms give the CAP 231 superb aerobatic flying capability. The fuselage, wingand tail panels are ready-made and covered in multi-colour film, and the wing panels are removable for ease of transport. The GRP cowl is supplied pre-painted in several colours.
