Hi-start rubber strand of circular cross-section, braided (white), approx. 30 m long. O. a. cross-section of the rubber strands 25 mm2. Outer diam. of the rubber approx. 6 mm. Loops provided at either end. Typical values for fashioning a hi-start line are 30 m of rubber and 100 m of towline of 0.7 mm cross-section. One end of the line is fastened at a loop of the rubber, the other one to a mini parachute (No. 18). Atow ring No. 552 is knotted into the loop of the parachute cap. This hi-start device permits launching models weighing up to 2 kg. Length of rubber and line may be varied, to suit requirements.
